Ongoing Support Plans

After the initial consultation, ongoing treatment will be tailored to each patient’s unique needs structured as a monthly membership. Following AAP guidelines, a comprehensive treatment plan will be established at the initial visit comprised of motivational interviewing, intensive health behavior and lifestyle treatment (IHBLT), and >26 hours of face-to-face, family-based, multi-component treatment. This typically happens over a 3-to-12 month time period. Some families may focus on lifestyle changes alone, while others may benefit from a combination of lifestyle support and medication.
